Hello Kat, |

The pasture is about 1 1/2 acre +/-. I think that is how high Bill is going to make the walls, somewhere between 4-5 feet high. I know that my fence is a little over 4 feet. We've got that 2X2 I think it is around the pasture, it was here when we moved in. Bill just went around and took it loose and retightened it where it needed it and reset the fence posts. Bill was born and raised Mennonite so he's pretty familar with that part of it and the barn building. But he's just trying to get a place set up for them for right now. Like he said with summer coming on it will be cooler for them for now, but when he goes to build the feed room onto the barn he's going to finish the walls and we are eventually going to redo the fence all the way around and do it the right way. He wants to do electric fence but like he said we are kind of pressed for time right now and this is the fastest and best way for now. KJ |

I've seen your other video's and I really liked them. I know what you mean about the barn. The way that he's going to build it is this way. The front part or entrance to the stalls is going to be facing the road with tube gates for doors, then there will be a separation in the middle to give each horse their own place, but both sides and the back will probably be done 1/2 way up from the ground, unless he changes his mind AGAIN. But it's so that the "kids" can look out while they are in their stalls and they can see the cars passing and other horses, etc, and they will also be able to look out the side walls of their stalls and for one horse they will be able to look out the side of the stall and see my back yard, and back door, etc, the other stall will look out to the neighbors pasture and house, then the back of the stalls will be done the same way, 1/2 way up from the ground so that they will be able to look out and see the pasture but they will also be able to see the trains as well as hear them and hopefully they will learn that the trains aren't going to bother them. We've decided that for the first few days the "kids" will be kept in their stalls, until they get used to the trains, but I will take them out one at a time during the day while a train is coming by and show them that it's ok. But they will go out for a little while during the day while I'm home into the pasture when I know that they trains won't be coming through and that way they will be able to get used to everything SLOWLY and SAFELY. At least that is what I'm hoping for anyway. KJ |

Kat,
DeShawnaYou should be able to upload your new videos to your page now that you have the CD. Be willing to wait a loooong time while they upload. But I'm sure you're friends would like to view them.
