Hello all!  I have a question....  I have started my 3 yr old gelding and so far he is doing great!  He just started sitting back a little bit, just enough to annoy me, when I begin to tighten the cinch on him.  I sure don't want a bad habit to start so I was wondering if anyone had any methods on how to stop this behaviour before it gets to be dangerous.  He sits back until he feels the tug on the halter and then stops, hasn't fought that yet and sure don't want him to start doing that.

    Thanks,

    Monica

It is rarely quiet in my house ever!LOL! But it is good noise.
If I need quiet time, I take a cup of coffee to the barn, and sit and listen to the horses chewing hay!AAHHH...Bliss! LOL...

My kids are all good riders...as they have grown, married and had children, they don't ride as much as they used to, but the love for horses is still there, and the grandchildren already have been started with horses ...
I think with my kids, horses will always be in the picture.
Your children are beautiful! How old are they?
